P. Kay Canada

The Classique line
of stained glass soldering products has been used by professionals
and hobbyists for over twenty-five years. Stained glass artisans
have come to rely on the consistent performance of Classique came,
solder, flux and patina. Classique takes the worry out of soldering
enabling the artist to focus on his craft.
In 2001, Classique
products became part of P. Kay Metal, Inc. Headquartered in Los
Angeles, California, with manufacturing facilities in Montreal,
Quebec, Canada and Tijuana, Mexico, P. Kay Metal, Inc. has been
manufacturing soldering products for generations. P. Kay services
the electronic, electrical, industrial and, now, the stained glass
market.
Classique brings new
dimension to P. Kay Metal and P. Kay Metal provides decades of
soldering technology to Classique. These two great names combine
to provide reliable soldering products and consistent soldering
performance
one connection at a time.

Lead Came
Classique lead came
is manufactured using our unique extrusion process "Extrusol".
This process provides an extruded strip free from air and oxide
inclusions. Our popular "N" alloy has the addition of
other metal such as tin, antimony and copper. These controlled
additions improve characteristics such as corrosion resistance,
ductibility and solderability not always available in other came
products.
Our alloys are made
and controlled in-house and provide lead cames which are of superior
quality and consistent from lot to lot. The Serrated inner channel
assists in cementing.
For the last ten years,
our lead came has been well packed in a heavy cardboard disposable
box with cardboard separators between lead came layers preventing
damage during handling and transportation.
